The Joint Fire Services Advisory Committee acts in an advisory capacity to Council, providing recommendations to the Community and Infrastructure Committee, followed by final consideration and approval by Council.

The Joint Fire Services Advisory Committee advises Council on matters related to the administration of the Fire Department, ensuring that Fire Protection Services are provided throughout both the Town of Lincoln and the Town of Grimsby, in an effective and harmonized manner in accordance with the Shared Service Agreement, and in conformance with the obligations prescribed by the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, and any regulations enacted thereunder.
