Committee of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body, appointed by Council By-law, that hears applications and makes decisions on changes to properties within the Town of Lincoln.
The Planning Act, 1990 grants authority to the Committee of the Adjustment to approve or decline applications for minor variances from the provisions of the Zoning By-law and applications for consent or severance of a parcel of land. The Committee of Adjustment is also appointed to consider matters in regards to appeals to Property Standard Orders and Fence Viewing.
