The Age-Friendly and Active Community Advisory Committee ("AFACAC") is a newly merged Committee to advise Council on programs and service delivery that support residents of all ages while encouraging active and healthy lifestyles across the lifespan and that encourage a safe, vibrant, and complete community.  

The AFACAC will be responsible for maintaining the Town of Lincoln’s membership status in the World Health Organization Global Network for Age-Friendly Cities and Communities and designation status in the Share the Road Cycling Coalition’s Bicycle Friendly Communities Award Program, as well as promoting and enhancing Lincoln as a welcoming, connected, and vibrant community for all and improve the quality of life for all residents.
